    Malton Laning Day

The route will be based around the North Yorkshire market towns of Helmsley and Malton. The day will consist of driving through the Howardian Hills, travelling past sights such as Byland Abbey, Castle Howard and Kirkham Abbey.

The route is generally easy, with only limited sections of technical tracks. The nature of the draining means that some of the lanes can be muddy, therefore all vehicles will need fully operational 4x4 and at least all terrain tyres (mud terrains preferred). All vehicles will need access-able front and rear recovery points. Some of the lanes are narrow and will contain scratchy bushes, although these should be less damaging due to the time of year. Any major bushes/branches will/can be cut down to prevent heavier scratches.

    The day will consist of:

    -Meeting around 9.30/10am
    -Laning up until Lunch
-Lunch stop (option to buy lunch or bring food with you)
    -Laning till mid afternoon
    -Option for evening meal?
    -Toilet stops throughout the day

Exact starting and finishing locations, along with timings will be given at a later date.

There are 10 available places for this trip with 2 groups. Register your interest by emailing info@jeepey.com
