Jeepey Jamboree 2013

The Jeepey Jamboree is in its 6th Year!!!. A Big Jeep weekend to remember at one of the UKs greatest off road sites - Parkwood Offroad (Tong)

The Parkwood 4x4 venue offers over 100 acres of woodland trails and features terrain suitable for novice to extreme off roaders. Includes 4x4 off road woodland and open tracks and water lagoons. Fun challenge punch sections, Trials, treasure hunts and various difficulty marked routes.

Bring along your RC toys as there will be places to play with them, including rock crawler course.

We will have a ‘show n shine' event open to all Jeeps including the original Willys Jeep.

This year the Rubi Tong Rock Crawl course will be open on Saturday 10.00-14.00

Camping and basic facilities will be available. There will be other attractions, stands and trade there.

Refreshments and hot food will be available throughout the weekend, including Friday night between 7.30 and 9.30 pm

We are supporting and raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with this event.

Over the last five years we have raised almost £5000

Prices

Saturday or Sunday £40 per day,

Two day pass with Camping £80

(there will be a £5 reduction for Jeepey Club Members on day pass, and £10 for weekend pass)

Only road legal vehicles (i.e. taxed insured and tested where applicable) can enter, and all entrants will be required to sign a disclaimer

When you have made your payment we will email confirmation, and a booking form, with a few basic details you need to complete.

If you want to ‘Show n Shine' your Jeep entry will be free (except for a donation to The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service) - However, you will be charged the above rate to enter the Off Road Section. - Please email [email protected] if you would like a show and shine entry form.

If you are unable to complete an online payment or prefer to pay by cheque or Pay Pal, please either email [email protected], or phone 01482 638451 and we will post you a booking form

PLEASE BE ADVISED THE EVENT IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, ALL VISTORS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH A JEEP OWNER FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.

Itinerary

Friday 26th July

12.00 - Campsite open to all for setup.

15.00 to 20.00 - Sign on tent open to register.

Saturday 27th July

9.00 to 19.00 - Sign on tent open to register and tombola .

10.00 to 18.00 - Tong off road site available to drive.

10.00 to 14.00 - Tong Rock Crawl course available to drive (weather permitting).

11.00 – Tong Tours 1, marshel led group off road drive around the course. Easy to medium routes depending on the groups requirements.

14.30 – Tong Tours 2, marshel led group off road drive around the course. Easy to medium routes depending on the groups requirements.

18.00 – RC rock crawler meet up at the rock crawl course.

Sunday 28th July

9.00 to 14.00 - Sign on tent open to register and tombola

10.00 to 16.00 - Tong off road site available to drive

11.00 – Tong Tours, marshel led group off road drive around the course. Easy to medium routes depending on the groups requirements.

16.00 Site closes. Any people wishing to stop Sunday night are to inform the event organisers.
