    Yorkshire Air Ambulance

As a continued supporter of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, some of our team had the honour of visiting their Nostell Air Support Unit to see how our Jeepey Jamboree donations are being spent.

They had a fascinating tour uncovering the history of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, viewing the live control desk followed by a seat in one of the Air Ambulances itself, the whole crew (Pilot, Doctor and Paramedic) gave the full low down on the changes to the helicopter over the years and the life-saving equipment it is able to carry.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance needs £12,000 per day to keep both of the Yorkshire helicopters maintained and in the air. Both helicopters are H145’s, G-YAAC and G-YOAA are based between the two helicopter bases, Nostell Air Support Unit and RAF Topcliffe.

We are delighted to announce that the Jeepey Jamboree so far has raised £16,201 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance which equates to approximately 29,000 litres of fuel; helping to contribute towards attending to 1,598 patients in 2019 and overall airlifting 8,042 patients to major trauma centres across Yorkshire.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ardent Off Road as without their support for the 2019 Jeepey Jamboree our donation would have been significantly less, therefore helping contribute to our amazing running total.

Finally, a massive thank you to you, our amazing customers for your continued support with the Jeepey Jamboree hopefully you can see your donations are making a massive difference to lives across Yorkshire.
